Research Interests

Sam’s research interests lie within the field of spatial mapping and ecological modelling. He is principally interested in identifying uses of novel technologies in furthering our understanding of the marine environment.
Thus far his main focuses have been in identifying environmental drivers of demersal fish assemblages in near-shore environments. This has been combined with creating models of species richness for use in park management and monitoring.
