Congrats to Dan for being appointed as a GORCAPA Board

Lab Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniel Ierodiaconou is appointed as a director of the board for the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA).

Established on 1 December 2020, the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) will manage, protect, rehabilitate and foster resilience of the natural, cultural and heritage values of coastal Crown land and marine waters along the Great Ocean Road.

The current GORCAPA Board was appointed by the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change in November 2020. The Board includes a nominee of each recognised Traditional Owner group in the region, the Wadawurrung Corporation and the Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation.
