Warm welcome to our new PhD Scholar, Evan Worden!

Evan will be working on commercial sponge propagation and high-volume seeding systems production with Dr Chris Gillies at Seagen Aquaculture at their multi-species marine hatchery in Newhaven, Victoria. Evan’s PhD is with Deakin University under the supervision of Prof Daniel Ierodiaconou.

Evan is also supported through the prestigious National Industry PhD Program, which, like the Marine Bioproducts CRC, fosters strong university–industry collaboration.
